Moonglow Plastic White Anthurium Flower Brooch with Rhinestone Accents
This graceful pin is composed of 3 attached pieces of heat-molded moonglow plastic in light pink, creamy white, and olive green. It looks to be a stylized white anthurium flower, with a heart-shaped leaf beneath. Each piece is lined with tiny AB (aurora borealis) rhinestones, separated by stacked tiny brads. The 3 layers are glued together and secured on the back by a riveted silvertone pin assembly.
Based on its design and rhinestone embellishments, I believe this may be an Alexandre de Paris brooch, or at least made in imitation thereof. The AB rhinestones and tiny brad spacers mean this brooch is relatively recent - I am guessing that it was made in the late 20th century.
This brooch measures 2-3/4" tall and 2-1/4" across.
